Committers are members of the technical community who have been granted write access to a Motown project. Committers are people that have shown merit within a Motown project. All members of a TC can nominate and vote on a new committer. The TC’s chairman invites a chosen committer and grants write access. Committers must sign a brief Individual Contributor License Agreement (ICLA), which clearly defines the terms under which intellectual property has been contributed to the Motown Foundation. This allows our projects to ensure that the products they publish can safely be released under the Apache 2.0 License.
