Foundation Motown is the governed basis for the open source Motown community. Motown’s formal governance structure is presented in our high-level corporate organization chart. Our governance structure is based on the Apache governance. A simplified governance structure is used due to the current scale of the Motown organization. The blue colored figures are part of the governance structure; subdivided into an organizational and technical governance organization. As a community-based organization, there many other groups of individuals and organizations that provide valuable work and services for Motown projects, but are not directly part of our corporate governance. The colored beams surrounding the governance organization in the organization chart are a representation of those non-governance groups.
